(Washington, DC) – Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche is facing new scrutiny after saying the Justice Department has a “ton of evidence” tied to claims about the 2020 election.

Blanche did not say the election was stolen, but his comments immediately drew attention from Democratic senators, who are now demanding more information about what the department is reviewing. He also confirmed that investigations connected to Georgia and Arizona remain active.

The remarks reopened one of the most divisive political fights in the country: whether federal investigators are still examining unresolved claims from the 2020 election and what evidence they may have.

Democrats argue the comments risk reviving false claims and politicizing the Justice Department. Trump allies say the public deserves to know what investigators have found and why certain election-related questions remain open.

Blanche’s comments may now trigger more congressional pressure, document requests, and public demands for clarity from the DOJ.
