(Pima County, Arizona) – Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos confirmed that members of the Guthrie family have been cleared in the disappearance of 84-year-old Nancy Guthrie.
Speaking to reporters, Nanos said that all siblings and spouses have been investigated and ruled out in connection with the case.
“The family has been nothing but cooperative and gracious and are victims in this case,” Nanos stated.
Nancy Guthrie was reported missing earlier this month, and her disappearance was later classified as a criminal investigation after authorities discovered concerning evidence at her Arizona home.
Law enforcement officials continue to pursue leads as the search enters its third week. Authorities have previously released details about a suspect seen on doorbell camera footage and have increased the FBI reward for information leading to her whereabouts.
The investigation remains ongoing.
