(New York, NY) — Too many ticketholders showed up on Randall’s Island for the Electric Zoo Festival last night. They were told to go home, but some, maybe hundreds rushed the gates and got in anyways. Security and the NYPD were overwhelmed by the concert goers who raced in over gates. Police did not make any arrests. The concert organizers promised to hand out refunds to those who did not get in. The concert organizers cancelled Friday’s show due to issues with the stage. Saturday’s shows started two hours late.
