(Babylon, NY) – A 63-year-old Long Island man, out for an early swim Monday found himself in a current that took him far from the beach. Dan Ho treaded water for five hours until he got the attention of boat. Captain Jim Hohorst and his friend Michael Ross fished Ho out of the water and got him medical help. He is gong to be okay. Ho, while in the water found a fishing rod and tied his shirt to it. He used it to wave down the boat that saved him.
