New York, NY (77WABC)- Police are looking for a man who allegedly assaulted a woman inside of an elevator at the 125th Street and Lexington Avenue Subway Station.
A 36 year old female was riding the elevator around 8:30 Monday night, when police say a man forcibly physically assaulted her. The woman was forcibly removed from the elevator and robbed of $50 in cash.
The woman had swelling to her face from the assault, but refused medical attention.
Police released the video below in an effort to identify the man believed responsible for the attack on the woman:
