VIDEO;Five Robberies Three Armed In the Central Park Vicinity; Suspects At Large

New York, NY (77WABC)-Police are hoping the public can help them identify suspects wanted in connection with at least five robberies, three involved weapons, in the vicinity of the Central Park Area in recent weeks.

A firearm was displaced after two suspects approached two 14-year-old male victims and a 15-year-old female in front of 52 Riverside Drive on Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at approximately 9 pm.  The suspects fled with two cellphones and a sweatshirt from the victims.   On Wednesday, March 17, 2021, at approximately 3:25 in the afternoon,  suspects approached a 26-year-old male victim and a 25-year-old male victim inside of Central Park in the vicinity of West 79th Street and displayed a knife. They stole two city bikes from the two men.

In the latest incident on Wednesday, March 31, 2021, around 12:30 am suspects threatened to stab a 27-year-old male victim in front of 19 West 69 Street stealing the man’s cellphone and wallet containing $375 dollars.

The first robbery the suspects are believed connected to occurred on Saturday, March 13, 2021, around 9:25 pm when a  13-year-old male victim was followed into the lobby of a residential building in the vicinity of Amsterdam Avenue and West 77th Street. The teen was pushed to the floor with his LA Dodgers baseball hat forcibly removed.

The suspects are also believed to be connected to an incident around 11:15 pm on March 30, 2021, during which suspects entered a residential building in the vicinity of Riverside Drive and West 78th Street removing an electric scooter without permission.

Police say no injuries were reported during any of the incidents:
