Minneapolis, Minnesota) – Conservative commentator Nick Shirley is unloading on Rep. Ilhan Omar as scrutiny continues around the massive Feeding Our Future fraud case in Minnesota.
Shirley accused Omar of staying too quiet while questions swirl around the scandal, arguing that if she had no involvement, she should be forcefully defending herself in public.
The Feeding Our Future case has become one of the largest pandemic-era fraud scandals in the country, with prosecutors saying money meant to feed children was stolen through fake meal claims and shell operations.
Omar has faced growing political pressure from critics who want more answers about what she knew and whether anyone connected to her had knowledge of the scheme.
