(Minneapolis, Minnesota) – Rep. Ilhan Omar is facing new political pressure after convicted Feeding Our Future figure Aimee Bock reportedly claimed Omar knew about the massive pandemic food fraud scandal.

The Feeding Our Future case involved roughly $250 million that prosecutors say was stolen from a program meant to provide meals to children during COVID.

Bock’s alleged claim is already being seized on by Omar’s critics, who argue the congresswoman must answer publicly and directly.

Omar has not been charged in the case, and any claim involving her would need to be tested against evidence and official findings.
