China Eyes More U.S. Energy as Iran Tensions Shake Oil Market

(Beijing, China) – China is reportedly looking at more American energy purchases as tensions around Iran and the Strait of Hormuz put global oil flows under pressure.

The move could give President Trump a major leverage point. If China buys more U.S. oil and LNG, America benefits economically while Beijing reduces some exposure to Middle East instability.

The situation also highlights how Trump is trying to turn a foreign crisis into an American advantage. Rather than simply reacting to Iran, the administration is pushing U.S. energy as a safer and more reliable option for countries worried about disruption.

Alaska could become part of that conversation if China increases interest in American crude.
