(Washington, DC) – President Trump is putting the Russia investigation back at the center of the political battlefield.
In a video posted to Truth Social, Trump claimed new CIA and FBI whistleblowers are prepared to come forward with information about what he describes as an Obama-era effort to fuel the Russia collusion narrative and weaken his presidency before it fully began.
The claim immediately reopens one of the most bitter fights of the Trump era. For years, Trump has argued that the Russia probe was never a legitimate investigation, but a political operation designed to damage him and protect the Washington establishment.
The new whistleblower claim gives his allies fresh ammunition as they continue demanding accountability from intelligence officials, FBI leadership and figures tied to the Obama administration.
