(New York, NY) — NYPD cops are searching for a straphanger who shoved a senior citizen onto the subway tracks in Queens Wednesday afternoon. The 82-year-old victim told police she was just minding her own business on the platform at the Flushing-Main Street station, when a man just pushed her onto the tracks. The incident took place just after noon. The senior is expected to make a full recovery from her fall.
The victim told police she did not recognize the shover. Witnesses say the woman was pushed by a man in a blue shirt. Police are collecting images of the wanted man from nearby surveillance cameras. They have made no arrests.
