NY: Subway riding in New York
(New York, NY) — A man was shot in the thigh on the Rockaway Park shuttle around 9PM Sunday night. Police say the the bullet flew as the gunman was robbing a straphanger of his wallet. The wanted man raced away from the scene. Just an hour earlier, a 15-year-old was stabbed in the hip during a robbery on the L train in Canarsie, Brooklyn. Police say the attacker, who was wearing a black face mask has not been found. Both victims are expected to recover.
