NEW YORK (77WABC) — The MTA has given the all-clear after a police investigation at the 14th Street-Union Square subway station.
The incident was reported around 10:30 a.m. According to the MTA, N, Q, R, W, 4, 5, and 6 service was suspended in much of Midtown and Lower Manhattan. L trains were also not running in Manhattan.
It’s being reported by some Twitter users that an unknown substance was sprayed in the station, sickening some customers. However, this has not been confirmed by authorities.
The MTA says to expect delays on those lines and on D, F, and M trains as they get trains back on schedule.
