NEW YORK (77WABC) — Shots were fired outside of the famed St. Patrick’s Cathedral in midtown Manhattan Sunday night.
Police quickly tracked down a vehicle a few blocks away at 53rd Street —with a shattered window— believed to have been involved in the shooting. A suspect inside the vehicle was taken into custody outside of the Museum of Modern Art.
The NYPD says two groups of individuals got into a dispute and one pulled out a firearm. No one was injured in that incident.
More than a dozen people were shot, several fatally, in nearly a dozen incidents across New York City over the weekend.
