Vereinigte Staaten: Mayor Eric Adams Give a Pay Raise for Taxi Drivers
NEW YORK (77WABC) — Mayor Eric Adams is not a happy camper.
He went on a rant Tuesday, threatening to stop fielding “off-topic” questions at his press conferences.
WOW day 46 of his term and @NYCMayor just went OFF on the coverage of his Albany visit.

“If you want to acknowledge or not, I have been doing a darn good job and we just can’t live in this alternate reality,” Adams said.
Adams also warned that if the coverage of him doesn’t improve, “I’m just going to come in and do my announcements and bounce.” He also blasted the Big Apple’s news organizations over what he said was their lack of racial diversity.
“How many blacks are on editorial boards? How many blacks determine how these stories are being written?” he said. “How many Asians? How many East Asians? How many South Asians? Everyone talks about my government being diversified, what’s the diversification in the newsrooms?”
Adams met with legislative leaders in Albany Monday in a failed bid to rollback bail reform laws. The closed door meeting included senate majority leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins and Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie. Bail reform is blamed for putting many potentially dangerous pre-trial defendants back onto the streets.
