KENOSHA, WISCONSIN -(77 WABC)- The jury in the Kyle Rittenhouse trial acquitting the 18 year old on Friday of all charges for gunning down and killing two men and wounding a third during last summers riots in Kenosha, Wisconsin.

Defense attorney Mark Richards say’s there was never any question about putting Kyle on the stand.

As far as Rittenhouse breaking down in tears on the stand during testimony, Richard’s says they were real tears, indicating Rittenhouse would  be over come with emotion in his office.

Richards adding that Rittenhouse never fit the profile of an active shooter.

The shootings no doubt have left  scars, and for the victims there are open wounds.

Hannah Gittings, the girlfriend of Anthony Huber , one of the two men who were killed in the shootings, say’s she can’t forget the pain of loved ones who were affected by the shootings and the jury’s decision.

She say’s she and family members will never rest and are not going away.
