(Queens, NY/77WABC)-Police say identification has been made of a man who died several days after being stabbed in the mezzanine area of the Jamaica Avenue-Van Wyck Expressway subway station in Queens, NY during the early morning hours of Nov. 29th, 2020. Police say the man who died has been identified as 43-year-old Jose Adrian Argueta of 86-77 80th Street in Queens.
Police say they responded to a 911 call of an aided male, within the confines of the 102 Precinct (Transit District #20) at 1:45 in the morning finding Argueta with trauma to his head and stab wounds to his abdomen. EMS responded to the location and transported the victim to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center. Argueta was pronounced deceased at the Medical Center on Tuesday, December 1, 2020. The Medical Examiner has deemed the death a Homicide.
There are no arrests and the investigation remains ongoing.
