NEW YORK (77 WABC) – Two more fatal accidents occurred in New York City on Friday morning with vehicles hitting pedestrians. There have now been five pedestrians killed since Wednesday.
Friday’s accidents took place on the West Side with a private sanitation truck hitting a man at 49th & 10th, and in Park Slope when a man was struck by three cars when crossing the street just before 6 a.m.
Police have yet to files charges in either incident.
On Thursday, two individuals were struck and killed in Manhattan and Brooklyn, and Wednesday a 75-year old woman was struck and killed near 52nd & 8th.
