On this Thursday edition of Sid & Friends in the Morning, Fox News' Tucker Carlson is on proverbial trial after airing previously unseen footage of the events of January 6th that Speaker Kevin McCarthy provided him. The footage aims to debunk a lot of the leftist theories that stemmed from the riot at the Capitol and actually succeeds for the most part, but Carlson is being lambasted by the left and even a good amount of Republicans for providing the American people with alleged misinformation. Sid thinks the whole thing is stupid, imploring Tucker Carlson to drop the January 6th story entirely and move on to more current and pressing issues. Whichever way you swing it, January 6th was not a good day for the Republican Party, so bringing it up in any capacity does not serve the party well especially as we inch closer to 2024. In other news of the day, politicians debate what should be done about the Mexican cartels regarding fentanyl and the recent kidnapping of four American citizens, New York City Mayor Eric Adams calls out Kamala Harris for failing to fulfill her duties as "Border Czar," and what you need to catch up on ahead of the Oscars award show coming up this weekend. Judge Andrew Napolitano, Joe Benigno, Noam Laden, Bill O'Reilly, Bo Dietl and Michael Gelman join the program, and as always make sure you don't miss out on the Thursday installment of The Peerless Boilers Sid's Take Contest.
