On this Monday edition of Sid & Friends in the Morning, Sid updates listeners on the indictment of former President Donald Trump, who is set to be arraigned in Manhattan at some point tomorrow. The former President will arrive at Trump Tower today, where he'll stay the night before turning himself in to authorities tomorrow. The consensus among legal minds is that the case still holds no merit, though at this point not even Trump's legal team has seen the contents of the indictment. His lawyer and friend of the program Joe Tacopina is maintaining the belief that ultimately this case will be thrown out, as he can't imagine a world in which any judge would actually convict Donald Trump over this. Regardless of what actually ends up happening, the left's relentless persecution of The Donald is fueling his base ahead of his 2024 Presidential run, widening the now huge gap between Trump and other Republicans hoping to give him a run for his money in 2024. Arthur Aidala, John Catsimatidis, Lee Zeldin, Rich Lowry, Noam Laden, Peter King, Naomi Rosenberg and Dr. Douglas Howard join the program, and as always make sure you don't miss out on the Monday installment of The Peerless Boilers Sid's Take Trivia Game.
