On this Monday edition of Bernie & Sid in the Morning, the guys highlight how the persecution of former President Donald Trump stacks up against the lack-there-of regarding the Hillary Clinton missing emails hoax. When the Democrats let Hillary off scot-free, they set the standard that if a Government official isn't completely aware that they are breaking the law, then they shouldn't be persecuted. Why does the standard change when it comes to Donald Trump? It's clear at this point that the former President, if he did do anything "wrong," wasn't deliberately trying to do so. Therefore, there shouldn't be any more investigation into the matter. It's time we start staying consistent when it comes to these cases. If the Democrats genuinely believe that Trump broke the law and should be punished for doing so, then they shouldn't have set the dangerous precedent they did when they let Hillary walk. In other news of the day, the feud between New York City Mayor Eric Adams and Texas Governor Greg Abbott rolls on as illegal migrants continue to be dropped into Manhattan from the southern border, polio is detected in New York, the Spotted Lanternfly continues to wreak havoc on plant life, and it turns out that actor Alec Baldwin did indeed pull the trigger when he by accidently shot his co-worker Halyna Hutchins on the set of his film Rust. Rich Lowry and Congressman Lee Zeldin joint the program, and as always make sure you don't miss outo n Lidia Reports or The Peerless Boilers Beat Bernie Contest.
