Frank Romeo is one of the longest living veteran’s diagnosed with 100% PTSD related disabilities, 50 years. For decades Frank spiraled down a dark road of alcohol, drugs, prison, and family discord. Realizing the importance of his work he began to travel the country with his artwork teaching PTSD, many times sleeping in his van. At age 70, to shed light on his mission, he walked 750 miles across NYS while living in homeless shelters and documenting the story of PTSD through his experiences and the amazing people he met on his journey. His findings are the subject of the film “Walk With Frank”. Today Frank travels the country on a mission to break the stigma surrounding mental health and the plight of our veteran community. He joins Frank Morano to talk about his life and experience.
