Curtis and Russ in the Morning | 12-31-21

Curtis Sliwa and Russ Salzberg fill in for Bernie & Sid for your Friday edition of Bernie & Sid in the Morning.  As the rest of the world gets ready to celebrate the start of the New Year, Curtis is having his own celebration of Bill De Blasio's last day in office as Mayor of New York City. Also in the show, Russ and Curtis talk about how Mexico's president is encouraging more tourism coming into his country despite cruises across North America being shut down left and right, the ongoing tension between Russia and Ukraine, a flashback in time as neighborhood stickball is a topic of discussion, and Curtis cannot get over Billy Joel labeling Taylor Swift as the Beatles of this generation. Due to Bernie & Sid being on vacation, there is no Peerless Boilers Beat Bernie Contest for today’s program.
