On this Monday edition of Sid & Friends in the Morning, Sid recaps the weekend that was at CPAC, where former President Donald Trump shined as he usually does at the event. Trump continued to build up steam ahead of his 2024 run for the Oval Office, toting a return to the strong and respected America that he left in the hands of the incompetent Joe Biden following his exit from the White House in 2020. Fellow 2024 Republican candidate Nikki Haley also spoke at the event, but was drowned out by a wildly pro-Trump crowd. On the Democrat side of things, more and more of Biden's supposed allies are dodging 2024 support for him for the time being. It seems as if the party is bracing for a change in leadership, but it remains to be seen who that change might come in the form of. In other news of the day, New York City Mayor Eric Adams says that Lori Lightfoot's Mayoral loss in Chicago is a "warning sign for the country," former NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly denounces New York City's decision to settle with BLM protesters, and your New York Knicks are the hottest team in the NBA. Liz Pipko guest co-hosts while Dov Hikind, Curtis Sliwa, Rich Lowry, Noam Laden, Alan Dershowitz, and Angelina Cappiello join the program, and as always make sure you don't miss out on the Monday installment of The Peerless Boilers Sid's Take Contest.
