(New York, NY) — AT&T wants to sell you a landline again. The phone company has launched a new service call AT&T Phone Advanced. The company will give customers a box that uses cellular service that can be connected to one of those old fashioned wired phone lines. They also can connect to ancient fax machines and home alarm systems
For years AT&T has been removing old copper cables that were used to connect landline users across the nation. They say their new AT&T Phone Advanced box will give landline lovers that old feel of a big clunky phone. The service costs $45 a month, and is not available in every state.
