(New York, NY) — Billy Joel is postponing his current tour for four months due to an undisclosed medical condition. A statement on his Instagram account says he is taking time “to recover from recent surgery and to undergo physical therapy under the supervision of his doctors.”
Joel said he regrets postponing any shows but his “health comes first.” In January, the Piano Man rescheduled a Florida show due to a “medical procedure.” In late February, fan video at his show in Montville, Connecticut showed Joel fall and land flat on his back after throwing the microphone stand, but he got back up and finished the show.
