(New York, NY) — Family and friends are begging the mother of little 3-year-old Kyng Davis to turn herself in, after she left the boy’s lifeless body off at a Brooklyn hospital on Sunday and drove away with her boyfriend. Doctors at Downstate Hospital say Kyng, who had bruises on his body passed away moments later.
Police say the unnamed 24-year-old mother dropped her child off at the hospital around noon on Sunday. Nurses tried to revive the boy, but were unsuccessful.
The toddler’s maternal grandmother says she had asked for custody of the boy back in 2022, because she said her daughter was on drugs. Now she says she can only mourn for a boy who should still be alive today.
Police say it is just a matter of time until they catch up with the mother and her boyfriend.
