(New York, NY) — Online fundraisers for alleged CEO killer, Luigi Mangione continue to grow by the hour. One crowdfunding site says they took in over 100-thousand-dollars for Mangione’s legal defense. That fundraiser was created by an anonymous group named “The December 4th Legal Committee”. The name is a nod to the day 26-year-old, Mangione allegedly shot and killed United Healthcare CEO Brian Thompson.  Some crowdfunding sites say they keep closing down any group trying to raise money for Mangione.

A Manhattan grand jury could return a murder indictment as soon as this week against Mangione. The indictment would then trigger Governor Hochul to issue a warrant to extradite the murder suspect from Pennsylvania to New York City. Mangione was arrested in Altoona, last week and has been fighting extradition back to New York. He has hired a high profile attorney to his defense team who once served as a Manhattan Chief assistant district attorney
