(New York, NY) – In what can only be characterized as a remarkable political comeback, former President Trump has been elected as the nation’s 47th president. He’s the first person elected to a second non-consecutive term in the White House, joining Grover Cleveland in that unique fact.

Trump, who was also the only former president to be indicted with a crime, overcame that fact and secured the Republican’s nomination for president. He survived two separate assassination attempt — one that left him wounded, after he was struck by a bullet in the ear during a Pennsylvania rally.

Perhaps fittingly, Trump secured his win by winning Pennsylvania’s electoral votes. He also won key swing states like Georgia, Wisconsin, and North Carolina.

In speaking to his supporters from Mar-A-Lago, Trump vowed to usher in a new America age of prominence. He noted how significant he is that he’s on pace to win the popular vote. No Republican had done that since 2004, when George W. Bush defeated John Kerry.

Trump referred to his campaign and the MAGA movement as the greatest political moment in US history. He predicted many of his supporters will consider this Election Day among the most important in American history. Trump noted the importance of the GOP securing the US Senate — something that hadn’t happened since 2020.
