(New York, NY) — A sushi chef from Queens says he was slugged so hard as he walked out of a subway station in Woodside last Friday, that he blacked out. Police say it was a totally random attack. Fernando Suwandi says he thinks he may have been punched because he is Asian.

Suwandi says he will miss a week of work at his sushi restaurant as he heals from his cuts and bruises. Cops have not collared the man who punched him. They say the only description they have is from witnesses who say he was wearing a pink jacket and jeans. Anyone with information is urged to call Crime Stoppers.
