(New York, NY) – Federal investigators raided the Brooklyn home of Mayor Eric Adams’ chief advisor, Ingrid Lewis-Martin Friday (September 27, 2024). Her attorney says she’s been served with a subpoena from the Southern District of New York and her phones were given to the New York County District Attorney’s Office. She will cooperate fully with any and all investigations
Meanwhile, Mayor Adams is shifting the duties of his top deputy Sheena Wright. The order, made weeks after the FBI raided her home, was issued should Wright not be able to do her job. Her responsibilities would fall onto Deputy Mayor Anne Williams-Isolm, who’s been untouched thus far in the City Hall investigations.
Adams did plead not guilty today in Manhattan Federal Court. He was released on his own signature and gave a thumbs up as he left the courthouse.
