(Farmingdale, NY) – 50-thousand dollars bail has been set for a 42-year old Shirley, Long Island man after an incident at Farmingdale’s Adventureland. The incident happened in front of the ‘Mystery Mansion’ ride just before 5pm on Sunday. Cops charged Daniel Tomasky of stabbing 47-year old James Burns of Florida in the abdomen after the two men, who apparently knew each other, got into an altercation.
Burns of Florida, is hospitalized in serious condition. Tomasky’s family is expected to bail him out. Daniel Tomasky pleaded not guilty and denied stabbing anyone. Tomasky, a self-employed plumbing and heating engineer from Shirley on Long Island, has previously been jailed for weapons offenses dating back to 2001, and some were appalled that anyone would be able to bring knives to the 62-year-old theme park.
