(Brooklyn, New York) – An 84-year-old woman was shot Monday evening on a Brooklyn street corner in East Flatbush while she was sitting in her walker. The innocent woman was struck by the stray bullet around 6:45pm near Brooklyn Ave. and Foster Ave.
Authorities say the woman was taken to Kings County Hospital quickly and she is expected to recover from her injuries. Police believe the woman was not the intended target of the attacker.
