(Dearborn, MI) — There’s an effort to get Democratic voters in Michigan to withhold their vote from President Biden today and vote “uncommitted” in the state’s primary. Members of Michigan’s Arab community are upset over Biden’s handling of the Israel-Hamas war, and believe the President does not deserve their support. Biden’s support for Israel is upsetting to many in the Arab community who feel the President has turned a blind eye to the soaring death toll in Gaza. The Arab-American community helped Biden win Michigan back in 2020.
Former South Carolina Governor Nikki Haley held a campaign rally in Michigan on Monday, laying out what she called her track record of success as governor. Polls show former President Donald Trump with a huge lead over Haley in Michigan. Haley has said, win or lose her campaign will march on into Super Tuesday on March 5th.
