Cops are looking for a group of passengers that punched and robbed an Uber driver while he was behind the wheel in Brooklyn.

(Brooklyn, NY) – New York City cops are looking for a group of people who attacked and robbed their Uber driver in Brooklyn. It happened on Sunday night, around 10:45 pm. Police say the 61-year-old driver had six passengers in his car when the incident took place, near Schenectady Avenue and St. John’s Place in Crown Heights.
As the car approached the intersection, five of the passengers suddenly set upon the driver, punching him in the head and face. After stealing his cellphone, the group jumped out of the car and fled southbound on Schenectady Avenue. The driver suffered only minor injuries and refused medical attention at the scene.
