(New York, NY) — Paramount’s “Bob Marley: One Love” is showing some life at the box office this weekend. The biopic about the long ago deceased reggae star is projected to finish the long holiday weekend with 44-million dollars. That would put it in first place, in just it’s first weekend on screens across the nation.
Sony’s “Madame Webb” is expected to make at least 22-million in its opening weekend. Good enough for second place. Returning projects, Apple’s “Argylle” and Illumination’s “Migration” round out the three and four spots respectively. Each are expected to make between four and five million. Wonka is is in fifth place. The remake about the magical chocolatier has made over 200-million at the box office since it’s release in mid-December.
