(Hoboken, NJ) –Hoboken Mayor Ravi Bhalla says he beefed up security around his home and family after receiving death threats. Bhalla says it’s not the first time he has been threatened , but he says the letter writer now has said he knows who his wife and kids are and where they live. Bhalla, who is a Sikh-American says he believes some of the threats have to do with his religious beliefs. Hoboken police say they are unsure who is behind the threatening letters.
