NEW YORK NY-Police are investigating a frightening attack involving an 11 year old boy and a dog in an apartment on the lower eastside.
Investigators say it happened around 3 pm Tuesday afternoon. They say Joshua Rivera was bit several times in the face and arm, and had to have surgery for his injuries.
He’s listed in stable condition. Health official say his injuries aren’t consider to be life threatening, and expect him to recover.
The family owns the dog. It took two people to pull the dog off of the boy.
The dog was taken to the ASPCA.
