(Trenton, NJ) — Governor Murphy wants you to think about vacationing in Central New Jersey. He signed legislation Thursday directing the Division of Travel and Tourism to draw up a new map that includes Central Jersey. The “Central Jersey” region includes Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, and Somerset counties. Murphy says Central Jersey has Revolutionary War history, farmlands, unique wineries, scenic parks and harvest festivals. He has directed the Division of Travel and Tourism to promote overnight stays there.
