Riverhead, NY -Former Suffolk County Police Chief James Burke has been arrested for the second time. Investigators say Burke was arrested Tuesday morning at the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Brookhaven as part of a park ranger sting operation. Burke is accused of soliciting a male prostitute and exposing himself. In February 2016, he pleaded guilty and was sentenced to just over three years in prison for beating a suspect. Burke had at one time led the investigation into the Gilgo Beaching killings.
