(New York, NY) — Mayor Adams was confronted at the end of the India Day Parade in Queens Sunday, by voters begging him not to send one thousand migrant men to a tent city set up at the Creedemor Psychiatric complex. The mayor told them the city has to consider every available location, as they look for spaces to house the migrants being bused here from the US- Mexico border. On Staten Island, neighbors showed up for a protest over the weekend in Midland Beach, to try and stop the city from transforming a former nursing home into a migrant shelter for families.
