NYPD patrol vehicle responds
(New York, NY) – A man who escaped NYPD custody after using knotted bed sheets to rappel down the side of a hospital has been re-arrested. Cops say 44-year-old Yenchun Chen was hospitalized with a cardiac issue after first being collared for possession of a controlled substance back on July 31. It was yesterday when he allegedly made his way out of a fifth-floor window, landing on an air conditioning unit, then using a taxi to flee.
Cops eventually caught up with Chen in New Jersey.
