Crane Fire
(New York, NY) –Authorities say twelve people, including three firefighters, all suffered non-life threatening injuries after a crane caught fire and collapsed Wednesday morning on Manhattan’s westside. All the injured were transported to local hospitals. It happened at 41st street and 10th avenue. Pedestrians and hotel guests making a run for it.
This is not the first incident for the company that owns the crane that collapsed. Two workers died in a crane collapse on the Upper East Side in 2008.
