(Newark, NJ) — Family members, and Newark firefighters continue to share their grief after two local firefighters were killed while fighting a cargo ship fire last week. No one is sure yet how Wayne Brooks Jr. and Augusto “Augie” Acabou died. The funeral for the two firefighters killed will take place on Thursday and Friday at the Cathedral Basilica of the Sacred Heart in Newark.
