BRONX, N.Y. (77WABC) — Two suspects jumped out from behind a car chasing and fatally shooting a 14-year-old male in the Tremont Section of the Bronx Wednesday night.
Officers from the 46th Precinct say they received a 911 call of a male shot in front of 2249 Morris Avenue at 9:14 pm. Upon arrival, officers found a 14-year-old male with a gunshot wound to his torso.
EMS responded and transported the teenager to St. Barnabas Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The victims friend was not hurt.
There are no arrests and the investigation is ongoing. The identification of the deceased is pending family notification.
