(New York, NY) — New York city subway bathrooms, which were shut at the height of the pandemic will slowly begin to reopen in January. The MTA plan is to re-open bathroom at well traveled stations like the Yankee stadium stop first. 69 stations across the subway system have working restrooms. The MTA says some of the reason for the slow reopening of bathrooms is due to a lack of cleaning personnel.
