SANTO DOMINGO, Dominican Republic (77WABC) — Mayor Eric Adams was in the Dominican Republic Monday touring areas of the country ravaged by Hurricane Fiona.
The mayor met with the nation’s President, Luis Abinader to discuss how New York could help rebuild hard hit parts of the Dominican Republic.
Adams and a team of volunteers from New York handed out food and supplies throughout the day to residents trying to get back on their feet.
