A Woman Raped in the NYC Subway System; Sketch Released of Suspect

(New York, NY)-The New York City Police Department has released a sketch of a man who allegedly raped a 21-year-old woman in the NYC subway system.
Around 3:00 in the morning on Thursday, September 1st, police say a 21-year-old woman entered the transit system at the 42nd Street and 8th Avenue subway station.
Police say she was approached by an unidentified man  who took her to multiple subway stations before taking her to an unknown subway station. The man then took
the victim to the end of the platform towards the tunnel and raped her.
EMS took the woman to  Bellevue Hospital.

The alleged rapist is a dark-skinned man with  facial hair and a scar on his forehead. Police say he was last seen wearing burgundy and gold shorts and Black and White Croc shoes.
