Police say the robbery happened around 9 p.m. on Aug. 13 on the S40 MTA bus. Cops add that the thief stood up behind the 64-year-old victim, who was sitting in a wheelchair, and removed $250 cash from his shirt pocket as the bus stopped at Clinton Avenue and Richmond Terrace.

Police describe the thief as a male approximately in his 20s, 5’7″ tall, 160 pounds, with a dark complexion, medium build, last seen wearing a black “TLC” t-shirt, black Nike basketball shorts, white socks and black sandals.

Anyone with information in regard to this incident is asked to call the NYPD’s Crime Stoppers Hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS (8477) or for Spanish, 1-888-57-PISTA (74782). The public can also submit their tips by logging onto the Crime Stoppers website, on Twitter @NYPDTips.
