Legendary broadcaster Vin Scully has passed away at the age of 94. Scully announced for 67 years with the Los Angeles Dodgers and also announced World Series games. He also had a couple of very famous calls including the Mets, and Red Sox 1986 World Series when it got by Billy Buckner to give New York the win, and the Home Run Call of Kirk Gibson against the Oakland A’s. Scully also worked for CBS Sports from 1975-1982 and announced nationally televised football games and golf tournaments as well. He is the face of sports broadcasting in my opinion and is looked up to as an icon by many aspiring and current broadcasters. You will be missed, Vin.
